Do not react to his antics, which has power only if you offer resistance (you know you are competent for the job; it is not an issue for you to acknowledge.) You want him to think that you hold him up to a higher standard (by letting him know that you have a standard.)
Smile and have a good posture, which tells others how you think of yourself, and their treatment of you is influenced by that. A sinister manipulator fears the cheerful and self-assured.
