請問我這種情況應如何與上司談判

我現在是 lab intern in a pharmaceutical company.

九月份的時候組裏項目緊，需要人手，上司讓我加班加點， 許諾以後一有職位就先考慮給我。

但是我前兩天在網上看到我們組裏在招人，要求的經驗比我的稍長些， 但我也基本滿足要求。

我去問上司，上司說現在情況不同了。。。。

請問這種情況應該怎樣和上司談？組裏最近好像有項目經費進來了。

招人的廣告剛貼出來，不知道有幾人申請。
