Basically if you want to fight and get rid of 新老黑, you need somebody to support you. I think the person will be the director, it will not be 黑老大. Obvious the decision will be made between the director and 黑老大.

Lets say there is a meeting between the director and 黑老大, how likely are they going to fire 老黑 and promote you to AD?

You are not happy, and you don't see the future, you feel your are mentoring your boss. You need a change, the question is how?
