Negotiation skill is weak

The issue is that the negotiation skill is weak at the beginning and we care too much about the comments from the current boss.

At the very beginning, the boss set up the tone that you need to do good job for the next project, otherwise your review will be worse.

Why do you care about her comments since you are moving out. Apparently your boss want to keep you around and do a lot of work for her and drag your as long as possible since you are a good resource. Then in order to move out, you need to tell her VERY FIRMLY you are going to move, otherwise you quit anyway. That way your boss will think there is no better way to keep you around and just let you out, and make your next boss happy. Remember you get paid each day as you are planning to move out, the better negotiation, the less work you do, the sooner you can move.
