but before that, figure out why you feel uneasy. is it because the project is being affected because of the lack of communication with you or because yoru own security issue. If it is the first, then you can openly discuss this with your manager and ask him to be inclusive if he needs your help with the project. if it is the later, then you need to take a careful look at your own value in the department.
