If I have to come up with talking points for a strategy that I'd recommend to 愛吃 for work, it would probably be something that looks very similar to what you have here. I definitely understand where you come from on all points and why.
That said, I'd like to mention that what 愛吃needs most now is a concrete plan on how to proceed in the 2nd meeting with her director. And the context is that she had a conversation with the director already where she might have "complained" or pointed fingers at her manager. And there is no evidence that the manager is on his way out, at least we can't count on it for now.This is a typical "damage control" scenario, and there are good techniques to utilize.
Before I logout, I wonder if writing your suggestions down in English would help her more so she doesn't have to translate everything in her mind. Just a thought.
