company will be in big trouble if fired someone because he/she complained to EEOC. Background check doesn't not check EEOC. It will find out if the case goes to the court. The company should not say anything bad to the background check. Otherwise it would be retaliation.
So no worry, and fight for what you think is right.
in fact, health is the main reason to file EEOC, just google it.
