Find another job ASAP

I ran into the same problem in my first job out of B-school - I got PIP shortly after an excellent rating in performance review (score 98 out of 100).

It was blessing in disguise.

The manager got transferred by his boss a few months later. After so many years, he is actually at a managerial level much lower than me! :)
