I read an article on this topic some time last year, it basically says that

1)90% of the people who stayed finally left their jobs in 12 months

2)If you stay, there is a "loyalty" problem always bothers you and your boss

3)Why didn't your boss make you that better offer at the first place? They didn't think you deserve!

4)The money or resource of that better offer to keep you has to come from somewhere, but where it really comes from?
