I disagreed with my boss and discussed with her. She talked with VP and raised my final review points. It's still in the same range - excellent to supior but VP start to think more about what I have done to the company.

I included thanks to them first. Then included my points about what i have done to the company. Although I made mistakes at work, every accountant makes mistakes but normally next person will find his/her errors. No one found my mistakes because I was the final person preparing consolidated report. We need more schedules to analyze the results instead of blaming me.

I would suggest you think at a higher level about how to deal with corporate request.
