Less visibilities than my prior role:

For any new position, you need to build trust and bond with your new manager first. Two months may not be enough for that yet. Be patient.

Less exposures than my prior role

same as above.

Not much room to develop the skills that I would like to develop: presentation skills and strategic meeting brainstorm.

let your manager know what you want to do.

My manager doesn’t pass along any information what she got from the higher up meeting. In my prior company, VP of the department keeps us posted about what’s going on. My current boss even doesn’t pass along the news regarding the human resource change.

Express your concerns to your manager. Be honest and candid and transparent. If you can't even be honest with yoru own boss, who can you trust in a company?
