summer internship during high school and college plays a great role. a friend of mine works in financial field. his daughter likes it too. one summer in high school, she was looking for internship and got interview w/ morgan stanley. surprisingly, MS wanted to hire her instead of intern. here comes a turning point. when filling employment docs, she was found lack of green card. she was rejected though she was begging if she can just work for free. hopeless! friend's daughter got heartbroken and left MS with tears. her parents felt helpless, too. she ended up major in biomedical which is not her first choice.
sad story is always true.
what do we learn from it?
