    做父母的很多都遭遇過這種困惑：兒女進入大學，卻不知道畢業以後想做什麽。高額的學費加上淒涼的找工前景， 令父母感到很大的壓力。那麽父母怎麽才能幫助他們的子女取得職業方向感呢？
 
    在她的新書“家長指南--學院及職業：如何幫助，而不是彷徨”， 職業顧問芭芭拉-庫克提供了以下建議：
1） Encourage your child to conduct informational interviews -- 鼓勵孩子進行信息麵試；
2） Introduce your child to career interest inventories -- 把職業興趣庫存介紹給你的孩子；
3） Prompt your child to research the job market -- 提示你的孩子去研究就業市場；
4） Have your child write a 30-second want ad -- 讓孩子寫一個30秒的希望廣告；
5） Keep a positive attitude -- 保持積極的態度；
