My manager is leaving, and there is a team lead position open in my team. The big boss is taking over us, and said we can send him email if we're interested in the team lead position. I want to give it a shot, but am not sure how to write this email, since the big boss doesn't have much contact with me in the past.
Any ideas what I should put into this email?
Here is what I have been thinking... Your comments will be much appreciated.
Hi xxx,
I'm very interested in the team lead position in xxx. I've been working in xx group for over xx years now, and I'm willing to apply for the team lead position to make greater contribution to our group.
I would appreciate if you could let me know what procedures I need to follow whenever it is convenient for you.I fully understand there could be other candidates for this position, and will support whatever decision made by the management team. Thanks!
How to ask for internal team lead position? Thanks!

• 不是我泄你氣, 看了你寫的E文和問的問題我覺得你離這個位置差距還大, 做好心理準備 -frogdumb- ♀ (0 bytes) () 09/16/2010 postreply 13:00:40
