弱弱地問一下 US work authorization 是怎麽回事

本人在歐洲，近來想在美國找找faculty的工作。有些學校問有沒有 US work authorization。是不是隻有已經有了US work authorization 的才可以，沒有就很難找到工作啊？

順便問一下，沒有美國學曆及工作經曆是不是也很難得到faculty的職位？
