when canadian lost job in USA, they could apply and get UI 100% for sure when they go back Canada. Several of my friends already done sucessfully this way.

The real question is if you couples both work in US, when one of you lost job, and he/she can transfer to TD/H4 immediately. In this way, he/she could stay in USA legally. based on my conservation with EDD offers two times, I think you could get UI. You should point to the officer next week the fact as an canadian, when you get any offer from any US company, you could get TN visa withen one day, so you could able to work at any time, NOT as they said you could not work.

Anyhow, we need your valuable info for our canadian guys who work in US.
