1) "大老板喜歡出現在很具體的技術會議上,然後幫你出具體的技術注意。"
可能是:
你們RD 的deliveries are not as good as the expected.
大老板也有RD的backgroud。
也有可能是:用戶對你們的designs feedback 不好。也有可能是生產部門認為你們是一個cost,或你們的support 不力。
總之,你們RD 讓大老板不爽。


2)“大老板最喜歡跟你討論的就是:你用了什麽技術,解決了什麽技術問題。”
the best way to handle this:
is conceptual model.
比如,what is issue?then what was the solution of the traditional way to handle that,
then the current available technology,
what our competitators use?
What differentiate our techs from others or conventional ways...
what performances of these new techs? robost? success rate, maintainence cost, savings...

另外,想辦法知道他的background knowledge,用他熟悉的concepts 和examples to illustrate 你的points。

我曾經和我老板discuss an issue,he was very arrogant about it because that was his strong part in his background。Finally I convinced him (first I yielded)
using his knowledge and the examples he liked to use。

communication的功夫要做到讓一個門外漢(even idiots)都能明白你的IDEAS,思路,flowchart, results,performance,blah, blah,要讓他們聽了exciting。。
不要小看this skill,it tests if you think clear or not
,you organize thoughts clear or not。
