Thanks for the comments Long Shao, much appreciated! Could you please explain a bit why we can't bring this issue to my manager?

Just wondering if I can suggest the manager get some internal feedbacks within our team regarding candidate's personality fit and people management skills. My concern is once this guy becomes my boss, my life will become miserable (other ppl has the same feeling). BTW, I didn't apply for the team lead.
