Again, thanks so much for your reply! The question is how to change ur cv to match the buzz words of job den if my current job is not relevant to the role u intend to apply? Try my best or lie?

The thing is that the knowledge about this software (Tcl/Tk, which is not a very popular software) is still there, that is not a problem. If they set up a test, it should be OK. But the problem is that the recruiter thinks the 10-year gap is bad and doesn't give us any chance. I think in the current time, the employers are in a "buyer's market" and very picky.
