JMO, you did not communicate well during the process.

Not an IT guy, but I feel that a project like this requires several reviews. It seems that you did not do that or keep good communication throughout. You will have to pay the price here and finish the task in the time frame.

Don't think things will stop here. I believe, even after you modify the program according to the 70 suggestions, you will have some more comments coming in the next review meeting. Then you just need to do it again.... it is the nature of a project development, and it has to go through its course...
