From this webpage, it says the average 9-month salary for asst. prof. at Bonston U. is 76.4K, Harvard 101K, MIT 97.5K, big difference there. Yours seems too low.
I'm surprised that you don't how how to check faculty salary ranges in US. Since you are holding a tenure-track, didn't you check this when got your first offer at Texas?
Another thing is, do you have your own funding now? is that easier to get tenure at Texas than at Boston?
By the way, I just got a tenure-track offer recently.
