Respect with a distance. The more you talked about how incompetent he is, the more he would try to prove himself and then intensify the tension between two of you.

我也遇到過同樣的問題，跌跌撞撞碰過犯過不少錯誤。現在也還做不好，但已經意識到很多時候是我自己沒做好。跟中國人更容易起這樣的衝突，是因為我們的想法類似，互相明白對方的做法。和老外過招，往往還不明就裏呢，就敗下陣來了
