Counter Offer--- Ask for your experience about it

I have got an offer last week. I will tell my boss that I will leave after two weeks notice. I have never experienced this kind of situation (First time to switch employer). I have a feeling that my current boss might give me a counter offer to let me stay.

The conversation between my boss and me will in place tomorrow. Before that, I would like to ask you guys, if this(counter offer) is the case, do you think it is a good idea to accept the counter offer. I mean, besides all the salary, job consideration, I just feel it is not comfortable to stay. However, since I have no experience on that, I would like to listen to your opinion with your experience.
