suggest you think more before

saying those things to your boss. You want him to be your ally instead of enemy. This is an isolated incident, it appears (if you can yell at boss, it means sth). have a deep soul-touching conversation with your boss. see if he can share some real issues about that last-minute project with you and if you can make some suggestions to improve process. make sure he understands that you are constructive and still his best employee, but let him know it will affect morale dealing with stress like that.
