well, what you said is at least politically incorrect

I already mentioned above, my family doesn't need my income at all. But I do want a career after years in school (I have a PhD). Even my mean boss had to admit that I have an excellent track record and my work is well respected by my colleagues, I haven't compromise my performance in any way after pregnancy.

That's being said, one of my main reasons I am fighting is the new supervisor I am reporting to is a very very bad manager. She has issues with all her former/current associates and a couple of them were forced to leave after working for her. She has multiple HR citations so that I don't think working for her is going to be less demanding and/or less stressful.
