“I love you!” vs. “I am in love with you!”

(2007-05-18 11:28:24) 下一個

“I love you!”   我愛你

“I am in love with you” is similar to “I fell love with you”  我愛上你了!”

“I am in love!”  我已墜入愛河” or  我已被邱比特的箭射中!”

Have you heard a song by Wilson Philips?

“I knew you are in love, but not with me” “我知道你已墜入愛河, 可你愛的不是我!”

“I love you” is more general. You can say that to you BF or husband any time.

“I am in love with you!”  You only say that in the moment when you fall in love with a man. It is rare to say that to your husband.

If you don’t belive me, ask your American husband.
