Nature's first green is gold,
大自然的第一抹綠如流金
Her hardest hue to hold.
是她最難留住的色澤
Her early leaf's a flower;
她初綻如鮮花
But only so an hour.
隻短短一個時辰
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
便褪變成葉
So Eden sank to grief,
伊甸園為之悼悲傷
So dawn goes down to day.
晨曦也變白晝光
Nothing gold can stay.
