It was daybreak, on March 21, 1979, when Teacher Gu woke up and found his
wife sobbing quietly into her blanket. The day their dearest daughter would
end her precious life for false accusation of reactionary. (She had actually
done nothing but said the truth, the truth they hated to let people know.)
She would never see sunrise, nor trees with blossoms blooming.
