In 2000, 1 share of DJIA is 40 oz of gold. today it is 8 oz of gold.

In 2000, as an example, a Honda Accord is about $22000/$300 = 73 oz of gold.

today, a Honda accord is about $26000/$1650 = 15 oz of gold.

Does gold gain "growth"?

In any period of cycle, one asset class outperform the other asset class. It happens in last decade, gold outperform stocks, bonds and real estates. It also outperform Berkshire Heatherway shares.

We do not know next decade. It is anyone's guess.

A typical commodity bull market runs about 15-20 years.
