離奇！貨車木材滾落砸死單車騎士 恩愛夫妻雙亡

夫妻倆原本甜蜜出門騎單車，卻因意外雙雙身亡。

美國俄勒岡州一對夫妻在路上騎單車，沒想到一輛載著木材的貨車經過，木材竟然就這樣不偏不倚的砸中兩人，導致兩人死亡。

據《紐約郵報》（New York Post）報導，這起事件發生在俄勒岡州波特蘭，10月17日上午11點左右，迪頓夫婦（Deaton）沿著郊區的步道騎單車，一輛載著木材的貨車正好行經兩人。當時貨車以時速60公裏的速度要從兩人旁邊「超車」，沒想到車上的木材突然鬆動，兩人都被木材砸中。

52歲的克裏斯汀（Christian Deaton）當場身亡，48歲的蜜雪兒（Michelle Deaton）隨即被緊急送往醫院，但仍搶救無效過世。兩夫妻都是NIKE的高階主管，已經結婚21年。

夫妻倆都喜歡運動和旅行，感情十分甜蜜的兩人常常一起出門騎單車、健行或是劃獨木舟。朋友們得知兩人離世都十分不捨，直說兩人真的是難得一見的愛侶。

據報，55歲的司機在事故發生後便留下來配合調查，但警方並未透露該名司機後續是否麵臨任何刑責，目前全案仍在調查中。
