據警方消息，凶嫌在半月灣（Half Moon Bay）的山菇農場(Mountain Mushroom Farm)和萊斯運土農場(Rice Trucking-Soil Farm)連續開槍，造成7人死亡，3人重傷。聖馬特奧縣(San Mateo County)警方稱，已有一名嫌犯落網。

警方說，下午 2 點 22 分左右，山菇農場(Mountain Mushroom Farm)四名受害者被發現死亡。另一名受害者被送往斯坦福醫療中心，傷勢危及生命。

據警方稱，槍擊案爆發後不久，又有三名受害者被發現死在該地區的運土農場(Rice Trucking-Soil Farm)現場。

犯罪嫌疑人，被確認是67歲的半月灣居民趙春利(Zhao Chunli，音譯)，該嫌犯於下午4時40分左右被拘留。警方說，嫌犯被發現在半月灣變電站停車場的車裏。他被順利拘留，並在他的車裏發現了一件武器。

警方在一份聲明中說：“嫌犯被順利拘留，武器就在他的車裏。” “目前對社區沒有明顯的威脅。”

半月灣市議員黛比拉多克說，受害者是中國農場工人。槍擊動機正在調查中。沒有立即獲得更多信息。
