人民網北京11月3日訊 綜合報道，瑪麗蓮·夢露(1926年—1962年)是20世紀美國電影界最受歡迎的女明星之一，她的魅力風靡美國，是眾星爭輝的好萊塢最閃亮的一顆巨星。而她與美國前總統肯尼迪及其弟羅伯特的撲朔迷離的關係，以及她神秘的死亡，都使她的一生充滿了謎一般的色彩。
在夢露飛黃騰達的日日夜夜裏，她出現在哪裏，便招來如癡如狂的喝彩和口哨。她使觀眾傾倒，也使美國政界人士、包括堂堂總統為她傾倒，把她引為座上客。
1954年2月16日，夢露抵達韓國進行為期4天的勞軍活動，受到10萬美軍瘋狂的歡迎。《太平洋星條旗報》的記者羅伯特·詹寧斯說:“夢露要來的消息就像野火一樣燃燒了整個軍營，有些美國大兵甚至哭了，還有的突然沉默地向往那一刻的到來。”
夢露撫慰了士兵們寂寞的心靈，同時她也是這次勞軍的最大受益人。回到美國後，夢露表示，這是她首次覺得自己像個明星。
