在連續兩場比賽（美國與西班牙）沉默之後，麵對安哥拉這個對手，易建聯完美地展現了自己在國家隊中的作用。全場比賽易建聯拿到10分11個籃板外加2次搶斷的出色數據，在防守中成為姚明不可或缺的好幫手。
