據美國媒體6月5日報道，莎朗斯通為她在戛納電影節上關於“中國地震是報應”的言論再次道歉： 在周三的一份聲明中，莎朗斯通說： “最近有許多關於我在戛納上發表言論的報道，我隻想結束所有的誤會。不錯，我說錯話了，我沒有犯過比這更令人遺憾的錯誤，這是無意的，我道歉，這些話絕不是要傷害任何人，這隻是他們(應該是指報道者)憑著這件事製造出來一個新聞轟動效應，我為在中國發生了巨大地震和地震中的死難者深感難過和痛苦”。

據美國媒體報道，以上這是她最新的道歉。莎朗斯通在一上星期曾發出了一封道歉信[查看原文]，在其中她說： “對於傷害了中國人民，我深感遺憾和痛心” 。50歲的莎朗斯通再次道歉，今年的上海國際電影節已經拒絕邀請她出席，莎朗斯通去年曾參加過此活動。(環球網王珊)

Q: Of Course I have.

A：How you feel about it?

Q：You know it’s very interesting because you know at first I am unhappy about the way that the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I think anyone shouldn’t be unkind to anyone else. So I have been very concerned about to how to… things and what to do about that. Because I dont like THAT. And I have been concerned about.. oh… how should we deal with the Olympics because they haven’t been nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine..

and the earthquake… and all the stuff happened… I think … is that karma? when you’re not nice that the bad things happen. And I got a letter from the Tibetan Foundation, they want to go and to be helpful. And that made me CRY. and they asked me if I want to write a quote about that..

and I said I would that is a big lesson to me that sometimes you have to learn to put your head down to be at service to people who aren’t nice to you. And that is a BIG lesson to me.
