美國乞丐——美國大城市，一些“要飯”(其實他們隻要錢)的乞丐會給人們留下深刻印象；尤其是國內來“考察”的官員，會得出如此結論 --
“頭號強國”比咱們強不了多少這隻是表麵現象。仔細看，區別不可謂不小 --
美國的“乞丐”群體裏絕對沒有小孩；婦女老人也少見；殘疾人更罕見
(偶爾會看到一個坐輪椅的“退伍軍人”)。換句話說，絕大多數美國乞丐是些健康的成年男人。這些是被大多數救援機構拒之門外的“弱勢群體”，才是美國乞丐大軍的主流。他們討錢的原因和用途也是五花八門。
