“那時爸媽還年輕，要任何一方帶著兩個女兒繼續打拚事業都很困難，由爺爺照顧是理所當然的———你說對我和妹妹不公平？有句話叫蓋棺論定，事情要長時間觀察才知好壞。我慶幸，未懂事前他們已分開，我不用經曆擁有過又失去的痛苦。
“他們偶然也各自來台灣看我和妹妹。人生難以十全十美，如果爸媽好端端在，與爺爺便未必那麽親近了。我常說，如果小朋友成長需要一個蘋果分量的愛，我已經獲得兩個蘋果了。”
