這些年都在窗後

百葉窗的十字格影掃過桌麵

 

而我獨自在曠野上

追蹤從未見過的動物

 

我沒有聲音

 

記得為它們虛構的名字

會有任何一隻回來嗎會有一隻

 

說是的

 

說仔細看是的

我們會再次相見

With blind crosses sweeping the tables

 

And myself tracking over empty ground

Animals I never saw

 

I with no voice

 

Remembering names to invent for them

Will any come back will one

 

Saying yes

 

Saying look carefully yes

We will meet again
