晚飯後，小凸子接著看他的Disney頻道。我想看選舉的報道。跟他要求了幾次未果。我後來靈機一動：
“爸爸跟你一塊看看John McCain怎麽樣？”
“Really?”
“I’ll show him to you on TV。”
遙控板乖乖的交到我手裏來了。
我先劃到希拉裏,正在德州演講。不用問，看來Potomac已經沒戲了她。屏幕上打出來，VA結果已經出來，DC也出來了。就剩MD了，poll close delay for 1 and half hours due to bad weather。
“This is Hillary Clinton。”
“I see。Some people like her。But I think she looks tired。”
“Yea she does。”
再劃下去，奧巴馬在威州演講。Breaking news，MD他贏了。
“This is Barack Obama。 I like him。”
“I like him too。A lot other people like him。”
再看一會。
“Dad, can you show me John McCain?”
換個台，John McCain在VA作勝選演講。
“Is this John McCain?”
“yes.”
“I like him. He is a hero.”
“I like him too. But I like Obama the most. You know, it is ok I like Obama and you like John McCain. We just get a little difference but we are still good family.”
“Yes dady. I know. But why his face is like that？”
以前沒注意，John McCain臉上還真有點不自在的肌肉。我也不知道怎麽解釋了。
“maybe because he was tortured when he was a prisoner of war.”
“what, dady?”
“prisoner of war is when you are in a war and caught by the enemy. That’s why he is a hero。”
“ ok…”
“when you grow up, do you want to be a president?”
“That’s too hard, I don’t know。 I think you can be a president。”
“ I can’t. I was not born in America。”
“ am I born in America?”
“ Was I born in America? It’s a past tense。”
“What’s a past tense？”
“it is when you’re talking about the past。”
“It’s time to take a bath and go to sleep。”
