美國腐敗政治的地圖: 最富有的 25 個縣排名

最近, 美國最富有的 25 個縣排名出爐. 從其中不難看到美國政治的腐敗. 其第 1,2,3,6,9,10,12,13,14,21,23名 竟然都是圍繞著首都WASHINGTON DC. 第16名也不遠. 也就是說, 有近一半的所謂最富有的縣是靠吃納稅人的錢財的碩鼠.

加州的矽穀 所在的 SANTA CLARA COUNTY 一直到今天仍然是人們, 特別是老中們津津樂道的樂土. 這裏有著GOOGLE, APPLE, YAHOO.... 等等如雷灌耳的著名的高科技企業, 居住著眾多的身懷絕技的工程師,科學家. 有著大量的靠自己的奮鬥成功的故事. GUESS WHAT? 這個縣隻是名列區區第19名而已.

這難道不值得我們思考嗎?

你的這個排名源出何處？不說此排名荒唐，對此也起碼不以為然。family household median income 八萬以上的town 在我所在的麻州有一大把之多。而在加州，康州，科羅拉多州等省也不少。

任何一個政府都存在政治腐敗的問題。同中國相比較，至少美國的製度是限製個人的權利，它的新聞自由可以監督政府以及政府裏由權利的人。

This article did not specify the ranking is based on median income, NOT average income. I think it can be better interpreted as smaller proportion of poor residents, instead of more rich residents, in these counties. NYC, LA, SF surburbs will rank much better if it is average income.

Higher income around DC does not support the conclusion of corruption in fed government. Look at the education level of residents, DC surburs are among the best educated. NASA and NIH each boasts of thousands of employees with Ph.D. degrees. It is NOT suprising for people with better education to command higher salary.

回複吊睛斑斕，80萬的房子在大華府地區算不上“豪宅”吧？ 我知道不少住在這個地區的華人的房子（current price）都超過這個價格呢。 我倒不是說住在華府的華人特別有錢， 隻是國人都比較勤儉，一般都會盡早置業。 而且， 即使房價在Fairfax跌了很多，但和1998年比， 還是漲了至少1.5倍， 所以， 搬來Fairfax比較早的人，房子的壓力相對來說還是比較小的。 BTW， 在美國， 公務員的工資並不是特別高的。

一般在美國的老中看不到“美國政治的腐敗”是因為本身是在這裏辛苦打工的命，沒有資格去接觸腐敗。

我的認識的一個混到美企中層的老中對我說，活的太辛苦，90% 的精力用於鬥爭。我說，我怎麽感覺不到美國的人際關係複雜？人家哈哈一笑，“因為你混在底層”。

D.C。 附近的幾個縣比較富是因為這些地方的很多企業是以承包defence projects（國防項目）和 government projects 為主要的業務。 而這些項目是不能out source的， 在承包政府項目的公司工作的員工都是要通過一定的背景調查的。 近水樓台先得月， 大華府地區的公司能標到政府項目就不奇怪了。

據我所知， Fairfax作為全美最富的幾個縣之一， 已經是很多年的事了， 這裏的公立學校係統據說是全美最好的， 所以很多人也因為子女的教育而搬到大華府地區來。這樣也加速了大華府地區的繁榮。 美國並沒有“戶口”限製， 人們隻要在當地的公司找到一份工作， 就可以在那裏安家了。 Fairfax地區的華人還是很多的。 我就是其中的一個。

合法的“腐敗”是一個值得探討的概念。我們都知道美國的人均GDP是中國的十倍。在美國生活和工作20來年，我並沒有感到十倍的富裕。拿衣食住行來說，我哪一樣也比不上國內無權無勢無學位的哥們的十倍。要說平均2-3倍那差不多。5-6倍的也有，但人家是下崗工人，我家可是倆個為500強工作的在職工程師。中國腐敗透頂，可美國的錢都被誰吃掉了？

這麽簡單的邏輯還理解不了？DC周圍平均收入高是因為吃聯邦政府皇糧的人多。相比之下，加州矽穀、麻州波士頓、新州等高科技人才的聚集之地的一般收入卻比不上皇城根下。你不得不相信，要來錢，不能不從政做官。

wall street 和 DC 都聚集了大量“美國“精英。 不是那些拿 H1 的科技民工。 那種job遲早會給out source光。矽穀的原動力在於street的風頭。

單單就IT民工來說，同樣的position, 微軟和格魯門的pay的絕對不一樣， 因為格魯門要tsc, 這些職務不會out source的。

而且加州大量老墨把平均值拉下來了。(當然政府都破產了）

相對來說，加州更是外國人創業/淘金的天堂。 （單單就做民工，加州沒有任何優勢）DC是本國人創業淘金的天堂。Street也是。

看來樓下的兩位來美國還不太久，或者自身原因理解不了作者在說什麽。

我的博導20年前在美國時就有了類似的結論：在美國是一流人才搞政治，二流人才經商，三流人才才做學問。為甚麽？跟在中國一樣，有權來錢最快，區別是在美國還不會掉腦袋。

現在還有為了理想或人民搞政治的，包括偶吧馬，而不是為了（黑）錢？

美國富裕的地縣就等於政治腐敗嗎？沒看出BZ絲毫的解釋和道理。事實上，在美國越富裕的人，往往繳稅越多（不管是絕對還是相對）。
