•Push sb. hard  - encourage or force someone to do something or to work hard； 對…要求嚴格，要...拚盡全力， 對…逼的緊;

 

–Our boss pushes us hard.  我們老板對我們逼的很緊。

 

•Push the envelope - try to go beyond the normal limits of something； envelope - 機械設備的性能範圍，功用極限。超越性能極限， 突破界線, 指打破常規，突破自己，創新；

                 –We will keep trying to push the envelope - our market demands it.

        我們將繼續努力挑戰創新——市場需要它。

• Push sb. around - treat sb. Roughly,  Unfairly；擺布, 欺壓某人； 
  –Don’t let your boss push you around - you've got to stand up for yourself， or report him to HR if you need to.

    別任由老板擺布你。你得維護自己的權利或者如果  有必要跟人事部門反映。

•Push back (on sth. ) – resist, refuse to accept, oppose (sth. e.g. change or something new)； 拒絕接受，反對，抵抗，不服從(某事) , 特別對一些變化或者新的建議呀抵抗；
