Cooperating with China is the only way to stop loss for the US. Any other way will let the US continue to lose. Based on the experience of the last two decades, the US hegemony has done the US nothing good. The US occupied Afghanistan for 20 years, wasted money and lives, but gained zero. The same is true for the US operations in Iraq, Syria, Ukraine, the Arab world, etc. If the US can gain from its hegemony, it should not have accumulated debts.
