心之所向，搖滾2021

      

最近，來自英國諾丁漢 的Doing Nothing樂隊發布了五首歌，這些歌曲“如帶有焦慮裝飾的艱難時光再現，吉他充滿喧鬧律動聲”，音樂評論說。“Glueland”是其中一首，查了一下歌名“Glueland”，它沒有什麽含義，不含什麽典故，僅僅是造出來的歌名而已，從字麵字組合看，有“膠水之地”或引伸為“迷人之地”的意思。的確，我們可以聽到不一樣的吉他彈唱。樂隊名字搖滾味十足，“無所事事”，要麽“有事可做，但不想、不必做”，要麽“想做點什麽，卻無從下手”，或兩者亦而有之。從歌曲“Glueland ”的MV視頻中看，主唱拿著麥克風，爬行在用紙盒搭起來的狹窄通道裏，通道又連接著一些狹小空間，其中的景物有些“光怪陸離”，視頻圖像形成一種“意識”的物理投射。

歌曲“Glueland”不一定那麽悅耳動聽，且有些“躁動”。音樂製作人Chris Bailey更詳細介紹道：“歌曲Glueland是關於那種不可避免的感覺，置身於一種自我頹廢泥濘的環境，如滿身是泥的海象。我們創作的歌曲和藝術，所有的感受都是來自同一個世界。歌曲則在非常鬆弛的氛圍中，錄製下來的。單調乏味的現實生活意味著我們沿著一條、通向並不需要以成敗論英雄的人生舞台，蹣跚前行。不要擔心，我們確信，歌曲並不是有關“疫情隔離”的，因為沒有人喜歡聽。” 看來，兩種理解似乎都可以，一是心有Glueland，正在為所想而前行，另一個不安於現狀，產生了Glueland之想，如歌曲最後一段唱的那樣，

 一首歌的時間總是有限的，但好歌曲一定是對生活體驗的一種高度濃縮，或者某種感受的放大。如果歌曲表達越具普遍性，意味著其生命力就也越長，一些傳唱至今的搖滾經典，也許說明了這個道理，比如Bob Seger的“Turn the Page(1973)”，以及The Turtle 樂隊的”Happy Together(1967)” 。還有被滾石雜誌所列曆年500首最佳歌曲排名第392名的“Bitter Sweet Symphony “(苦甜交響曲)，這歌曲發行於1997年6月，涉嫌抄襲，直到2019年4月才終結版權紛爭。搖滾歌手Sari Schorr的那首歌“Ordinary Life”，發布已一年了，現在再聽，感覺和以前有些不一樣了。

今年3月即將發布的新專輯“The Bitter True”（苦澀的真相），值得關注。如歌曲“Wasted on You”，雖然歌曲創作於疫情發生之前，Amy Lee介紹道：“我並沒有寫當下所經曆的困難，但某種程度恰巧反映了目前的處境”。她的另一首“Use My Voice “, 也非同凡響，2020的一些片段注定留在搖滾女歌手Amy Lee的歌曲裏 。
