太陽湖

“Sunlake”

I got up early to the Sunlake 

Under the misty morning glow,

Faraway drifting a long-lined up Canadian geese

Shared me with the silence and view.

 

First sparkling light 

Then loud splashing sound

A school of silver fish too many to see,

Startled me with my jaw dropped

Came straight toward me.

 

Those long line Canadian geese

Woke up, took off, disappeared in less than a second,

Left me the lonely silence.

What a surprise!

 

“太陽湖”

我起早來到太陽湖邊，

晨曦剛從迷霧中初現。

遠處像線一樣漂浮在湖麵

是一群加拿大鵝，

與我共享這寂靜一片。

 

先看見波光粼粼，

再聽到潮水湧動。

一群數不勝數的銀魚，

驚掉我心魄，

朝我奔湧而來。

 

那群加拿大鵝，

從蘇醒，起飛，消失，隻瞬間。

一切又歸於平靜，

真是奇跡！
