民主與共和：理想與現實的距離—O8 Care 的困境

民主黨的很多理念都是很正確的，比如福利，比如醫保。問題在於過於激進而失去了可行性，甚至產生相反的後果。這是我更傾向於讓共和黨執政的原因。

民主黨在福利問題上的極端立場哪怕對非裔墨裔實際上都是傷害大於幫助。我在“我們所需的和民主黨能給的”一貼中實際上主要說的就是這一點。

另一個最新的實例是醫保。人人醫保的理想是很崇高的，沒人可以否認。但極端的理想必須建立在一個極端的體係之上才可以被支撐住。像這樣的社會主義風格的理念與市場經濟的體係南轅北轍。我們必須明確地選一邊。

民主黨的想法並不都是錯的，但現在的民主黨想運行的軟件大都不適合市場經濟這個操作係統，所以還是建議試試共和黨的軟件。
