《Call me by your name》，這部電影先是看的小說版，然後看電影。很顯然這是一部必須看過原著才能充分領會作者深邃用心的電影，如果不看《call me by your name》的原著，你會忽略很多細節，甚至看不懂，比如Elio對Olive的迷戀其實是從哪個美式的“later”開始，其中代表著一種桀驁不馴，一種特立獨行，和一種難以琢磨，而在影片中隻能感覺到Elio是被Olive的外貌吸引。此後的很多的心理戲也是非小說不能闡釋清楚的，Elio為什麽在渴望Olive的同時卻更加迫切地與女友瑪奇婭求歡，Elio在和Olive第一次發生了關係後，第二天為什麽忽然變得冷淡和厭倦....
《斷背山》的原著和電影無論是劇情還是表現力都不需要互為補充，同樣屬於同性戀愛情題材，同樣屬於始於青春的激情之愛，同樣是唯美的真愛和遺憾的結局，《call me by your name》和《斷背山》卻有著非常迥異的故事脈絡和表達主旨，同性之愛也完全可以帶入到異性戀中，小說作者和導演對於愛情的闡釋打動了觀眾的心。
中文將《call me by your name》翻譯為《戀人絮語》其實也很貼切，因為這個故事不單單講述的是同性戀的故事，更好的說是一場刻骨銘心的初戀。當片子結尾Elio趴在爐火前，默默飲泣，那憂傷的畫麵久久地刻印在我的心中。每一個失去都是一個刀口，它會在歲月中愈合，也會在陰雨綿綿的天氣中帶來陣陣隱痛。
摘抄幾段原著中深得我心的段落：
“You had a beautiful friendship. Maybe more than a friendship. And I envy you. In my place, most parents would hope the whole thing goes away, or pray that their sons land on their feet soon enough. 我們隻能擁有一次我們的身體和心靈。但很多人都期望盡可能的多擁有，一個是想象的生活，一個是現實的版本，還有的就是介於兩者之間.....但無論怎樣選擇，我們終究隻有一個人生，而在我們明白這個道理之前，我們的心就已經蒼老了。至於身體，總有一天沒有人願意再看到，沒有人願意再靠近。現在我感到遺憾，我不羨慕痛苦本身，但我羨慕你會痛。
