宅家久了，漸漸地越來越不想動了，也好像沒有心境去旅行。想起旅行的一切瑣事，還是看看家門口的風景算了。附近的山路還是封鎖著，那就去看海吧。
3/25雨後天晴，風和日麗，老天下雨也下累了，終於也願意歇幾天。
看圖說話：
看海的姑娘成了我們鏡頭裏的一道風景線。年輕就是美！
She is as beautiful and serene as the sea. An on-looker is at the center of our camera.
不過，詩人可能會這麽寫：我在岸上看你，你卻在看海：）
俯瞰腳下的大海. An open sea spreading in front of us，the view is all- encompassing.
勇士們。海水很冷的-- Those who brave the way become the way.
鳥兒也在看著他們 Birds are watching too.
And cannot wait to rival the surfers. Birds are nature‘s flyers, gliding effortlessly and adeptly.
They land in pairs and in tandem. Maybe they have some orders too.
A gray bird comes by. She/he is alone. 
Being solo is not bad at all, she concludes.
Guess which one is male, and which one female? In the animal worlds, males are more likely to be colorful, to entice females for mating, opposite of human world.
What are we waiting for?

看完一處的海灘，又開車去了另一處。今日運氣好，遠遠看見鯨魚仰出海麵吐氣時射出的水柱，可惜等我打開鏡頭，它已經沉下去，隻拍到一個白點（最右邊船隻不遠處）。我們的目光在海麵不停地搜索，想再次捕捉到它們的身影。隻見它們越遊越遠。最後隻得放棄。
Whales are migrating for the season. They only surfaced with fountains of spray when they need to breathe. Boats are chasing them for a better and closer view. Leave us alone, the whales might say.
海麵一如既往遼闊無垠，不同的是海麵中間有很明顯的一道divider，將深淺不一的兩種顏色--深藍和淡藍劃分開來。我們站在那裏觀望，身邊一位老美在問，為什麽海水有兩種顏色。某人試著解釋說，這邊顏色淡一點會不會是最近的雨水衝入海裏造成的，尚未影響到遠處原本深色的海水？
A clean-cut divider in the middle of the sea separates the surface into two parts, deep blue in the distance, fading to azure color in the front. A lady standing by us was asking aloud, "Why is there a divider?" He answered that it is possibly because of the recent rains that ocean collects through the shore. The deep blue afar is the color of salty sea with different density. Is that the right answer?
Waves are lashing the shore.

Edible ice plants are everywhere, salty though grown on the beach that imbibes sea water.
The sunshine coast offers me some solace from long stints of rains and working at home.

都說今年春天冷，可是為什麽我家後院的大雁提前兩個星期孵蛋生寶寶呢？平時是３月底才開始
I bought the exact same ice plants from a farm ($3 per pound). They are good to be in salads, though they taste blank without dressing. It's more of its crunchy texture that people are after.

謝謝小小喜歡照片！這裏的絕大部分都是單反相機拍的，除了最後一張冰菜照片和中間的小鳥集體照（這張有點記不清了），其他都是單反，鳥類要拍清楚基本都需要單反相機的。這鳥第一次見，我自己也很高興拍到它們的倩影。我們這裏周三周四好像還要下雨，希望接下來能晴吧。今年雨水實在有點多。小小新周愉快！
