好多人圍觀朱之謂：沒事找事漲姿勢，附庸風雅愛賣弄，送一光榮稱號，叫文藝理工男。這真是糟賤了“文藝”兩個字！真正的文藝理工男，是Limeng老兄。
日前，Limeng兄發來兩篇近作。一篇是他訪問舊金山藝術博物館Legion of Honor的遊記，另一篇則是他在SD市中心圖書館淘書時，一邊暢遊書海，一邊與中外作家/藝術家心神交流的隨筆。讀著Limeng兄的文字，感受其敏銳的觀察力和細膩的意識流，既漲姿勢，又很受用。
Limeng兄原是北大的文科學霸，中文功底深厚，文史哲涉獵廣泛。對中國書畫和西洋藝術，均頗具慧眼，見識獨到。平時喜歡筆耕，文章多見於報刊雜誌。伊甸文苑、文心社等著名文學網絡期刊，均有其一席之地。多年前曾寫《詞苑擷英》，文中對宋詞的精致見解與剖析，讓我佩服得五體投地。
總而言之，Limeng兄才是響當當的文藝理工男。之所以帶上理工男這個後綴，是因為他在出國後，兼修城市規劃，如今任職本埠規劃部門。我第一次見到他，是從他辦公室門口路過。拿眼一瞟，怎麽裏麵坐著一位老中？看起來那麽帥，那麽斯文，那麽有氣質。剛好他也抬頭一望，四目相對，會心一笑。有一種傳說，叫一見如故，這種機緣巧合的劇情，居然以我倆為主角上演了一回。打那以後，我倆不僅在業務上成了好同事，也在“文拉OK”方麵，成了趣味相投的業餘筆友。
說來慚愧，朱之謂是修橋補路的工匠出身，在Limeng兄麵前耍筆杆子，不啻於班門弄斧。所以在回複其分享近作的洋文郵件時，竟然自卑到不敢玩中文，隻好以歪就歪，用洋文來saving face了：
Thank you very much! I deem it an honor to share something like that! What a wonderful reading for me, I enjoyed it so much, and I know my heart was touched! I believe you are gifted in telling stories, in revealing your sensitive minds using your eyes of an unparallel power of observation. I can't help urging you to get your great writings published, although you might have done or considered doing so. Again, thankyou for sharing!
By the way, I went back together with my family to my hometown in early February, and stayed there for 2 weeks. My father, 84, passed away, and we were there to bid our last farewell. As you can imagine, the trip was depressing, and overwhelming with deep sorrows in our minds. The timing, however, coincided with the Chinese traditional spring festival. After the funeral services in memory of my father, my son proposed to stop by Shanghai and Suzhou on our way back to California. It was the first time for the boy to be back in China since he came to the states in 2000. We did exactly what he proposed before leaving the motherland, as another way, at least I think so, to smooth the pains in our hearts due to the loss of the family.

雖說哥倆好，但回複Limeng兄，玩不好中文，著實難堪。反正我洋文爛，胡謅一通，搪塞一下，下次見麵了，哈哈一笑，也就過去了。
