Ingredients: 4.5 lbs oxtails (on pack from Costco)
Part A:
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 scallion stalks, minced
1 tbs minced ginger root
2 tabasco peppers, minced
5-6 Sichuan peppercorns
1 star anise
½ medium size beef tomato, chopped
¼ tsp Chinese five-spice seasoning
1/8 tsp salt
Part B:
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup Chinese cooking wine
¼ cup corn syrup
¼ cup chicken broth
Part C:
¼ cup chicken broth
½ cup cherry tomatoes, cut in halves
1 cup chunks of Chinese white turnips
1 cup chunks of carrots
Garnish: A little bit of scallion and cilantro, chopped in pieces.
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 3500F.
2. Add cooking oil in a 4-QT cast-iron pot, medium heat, fry the pieces of oxtails until the color turned to light brown.
3. Add the gradients in part A, fry lightly until fragrant, and add the gradients in part B, bring to boil.
4. Cover the lid, transfer to oven, bake for 1 ½ hours.
5. Take out the pot, take out the oxtail pieces, remove the fat and the spice pieces from the remaining sauce.
6. Put the oxtails back to the pot, add the gradients in part C, mix well. Put back to oven to bake for another one hour.
7. Remove the pot from oven, garnish with chopped scallion and cilantro pieces.

裝飾:一點蔥花和香菜末
步驟:
1. 烤箱預熱到華氏三百五十度。
2. 四誇特大小鑄鐵鍋, 鍋裏加少許油, 煎一下牛尾至微黃。
3. 加佐料A, 炒香, 加B煮開。
4. 鑄鐵鍋蓋上蓋子,在烤箱中烤一個半小時。
5. 拿出鍋,把牛尾盛出來,把剩下的湯汁去油,去除調味渣。
6. 牛尾放回鍋裏,加C, 混勻, 放回烤箱接著烤一小時,此時湯汁已呈濃稠。
7. 牛尾裝入盤中,淋上湯汁,撒上蔥花和香菜末。
