This morning, it was a little late when I and my daughter left for her school, we decided she ride bike instead of walking, and I have to run after her then. At this age, run after a bike is something a little too much exercise. So once we crossed the street and entered the trail of the park next to her school, I told her just kept going to school. Don't wait for me. That what she did. She locked the bike herself and went to school. I half ran half walked and finally made it there, the school door was closing.
when I was passing where the kids leaving their bike, my daugter's class mate Alexi was parking his bike. and his mom, asked him to wait for his brother who is not finishing locking his bike. and that made both of them late for school.
I was thinking to myself, did I make the right choice of letting my daughter riding to school on her own for that part of the trail?
