追劇，為了遠離這個現實，也是回望那個我出生長大，無比親切，也逐漸陌生的地方。

聽書，為了遠離24小時滾動新聞，也是為了深入那個我曾經完全陌生，還在逐漸熟悉的地方。

The Hardest Job in the World by John Dickerson

這本書很有意思，

“If a president whipped up the crowd, “the passions…not the reason, of the public would sit in judgment,” wrote Madison in Federalist No. 49. “But it is the reason, alone, of the public, that ought to control and regulate the government. The passions ought to be controlled and regulated by the government.”37”

看看最近這幾年，200多年前Madison說的這話是不是很有針對性？

想買一本。

另外，除了書，還發現了幾個podcast，最常聽的是

最近的幾期都很有意思。

另外這兩個政治傾向很明顯，都是前奧巴馬班子裏的人。一個是Pod Save America，

另一個是Pod Save the World,  一個討論國內事務，一個著重於國際事務。他們的政治觀點可以忽略，但是他們獨特的角度也值得去了解。

回複 '糯米粥' 的評論 : 這篇有意思。。。成長過程中文化和周圍的小環境，對成人的思考和判斷有很大的影響。個體的，就像你列舉的Hamilton 和Jefferson。一個人的自信或自卑，往往和人的童年少年經曆有很大關連。

大到一個社會，大概就是那篇文章裏寫的那樣了。
